White Wine's Tastings this Thursday and Friday
2021 My Favorite Neighbor "Blanc" SLO Chardonnay
The 2021 Chardonnay is very ripe in style with scents of banana chip, apple pie, jasmine, allspice and brown sugar. The full-bodied palate is packed with ripe, spicy fruits and plenty of refreshing acidity, and it finishes long with a satiny, mouth-coating texture. It's an old-school style that fans of ripe, oaked Chardonnays will enjoy.
2022 Bieler Pere et Fils "Sabine" Aix en Provence Rosé
The classic Provence Rosé profile is what every serious winemaker around the world attempts to mimic and for good reason. Our goal is to find the delicate balance between floral, herbal, wild red fruit (not overly ripe), stone fruit and acid. Enticing aromatics of peach, white cherry and wild raspberry that are balanced by summer flowers, white tea and Provence herbs. We feel the 2022 Vintage is the best ever.
2022 Rapaura Springs Reserve Sauv-Blanc Marlborough
This luscious version offers ripe peach, ruby grapefruit and passion fruit flavors that are mouthwatering, with details of sea salt, dried herbs and fresh ginger. Gains momentum and intensity on the long, expressive finish, where lemon verbena and green tea linger. Number 3 in the Top Ten Value Wines of 2023- Wine Spectator.

Current Tasting Wine - Red
Red Wine's this Thursday and Friday
2019 Sinegal Details Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Details is stunning. Vibrant and explosive in the glass, the Details Cabernet shows just how compelling Cabernet can be beyond Napa Valley. Gravel, crushed rocks, menthol, licorice, plum and incense saturate the palate. This inky, structured Cabernet is one of the very finest Cabernets readers will find in its price point, or virtually any price point, for that matter. The 2019 is a blend from sites in Sonoma Valley, Alexander Valley and Knights Valley.
2021 Andis Painted Fields Curse of Knowledge Red/Cab
Curse of Knowledge is a Cabernet Sauvignon (77%) made in the Bordeaux style by carefully blending Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and a hint of Petite Verdot. We aim to showcase a new dimension of flawlessly balanced, well-structured, and quality wine that will shift people's views of the Sierra Foothills. You'll be captivated by the intense ruby color and the sensational bouquet of dried violet, black cherry, fresh herbs, and cocoa powder. The velvety tannins create a generous and round, balanced mid-palate, with a lingering finish of dark berries and black licorice. 100 point winemaking team of consultants Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky with and Lorenzo Muslia.
2021 Caterwaul Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Jeb Dunnuck's consistently scored this wine in the mid-90s for the years leading up to this bottling, but has not reviewed this vintage. His notes on the producer: "Carerwaul is a new collaboration between superstar winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown and Matt Hardin from Barbour Vineyard Management. Started in 2014, they produce a Napa Valley Cabernet from Matt’s estate vineyard in Pope Valley and a Regusci Vineyard release from Stags Leap. As Cabernet goes from Napa Valley, these are incredible values that should be snatched up by readers.
